Friends of the Society of Primitive Technology
In this age of ever increasing technology and fast living, the knowledge and skills of the day to day life of our ancestors is being forgotten. As part of a fast-growing desire to preserve these skills, we present Echoes in Time.
Echoes is held each July in Oregon's Willamette Valley, 30 minutes south of Portland. The gathering is a collection of workshops that teach early living skills. Participants enjoy 5 days of learning a broad range of skills from the times of our earliest ancestors to the present day. Anyone interested in learning these endangered skills is invited to register. This is an excellent family outing and no previous experience or education is required. We'd love to have you join us!

Next Echoes: July 21–25, 2014
We will be gathering for our sixteenth year this summer at Champoeg State Park. Champoeg is located west of I-5 between Portland and Salem. If you're interested in attending, learn more about Echoes and register to join in.
