In this age of ever increasing technology and fast living, the knowledge and skills of the day to day life of our ancestors is being forgotten. As part of a fast growing desire to preserve these skills, Dale Coleman, Leland Gilsen and Goode Jones present "Echoes in Time".
![]() The workshop is a collection of classes that teach these early living skills. 2008 will be the ninth year for Echoes; once again, it will be held at the Willamette Mission State Park, nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, just 8 miles north of Salem, Oregon. Participants can enjoy 5 days of learning skills from the stone-age through the pioneer era. The classes are meant to appeal (but are not limited) to anyone with historical interests, mountain men groups, scout groups, home schoolers, outdoors men, those interested in sustainable living, abo's, etc. However, anyone interested in learning these endangered skills is invited to register. This is an excellent family outing and no previous experience or education is required. We'd love to have you join us! To learn more about "Echoes in Time" click on the links below. |
